Healing Whiteness: On Conflict
We hold that we have a lot of practice embodying white supremacy culture. So we ask the question: what else can we be practicing? These three themes: connection, conflict and coordination will support skill building for white-bodied people to practice more of the antidotes to white supremacy culture in order to unlearn a culture of dominance.
Big Feelings
Skill up in your capacity to care for your kids when emotions begin to flow -- theirs and yours! Let’s dispel the shame that can creep in both for you and your kids as we find our way together.
Tending Our Fear, Building Our Resilience: White People for Collective Liberation
Through group dialogue, self-reflection, story-telling, resiliency practice, somatic practice, and ritual, we will access and build up our resiliency practices so that we can feel more prepared to take bigger risks; enter the tender work of naming and facing our fears; and refuse to let those fears govern our actions.
Wielding The Wisdom of Our Body
What would it be like to be able to be responsive instead of reactionary? To feel more possibility and choice as we move toward change? How might it feel to show up in alignment with how or who you want to be in relationships, at work, in creativity, in life?
consent + relationships
Have you ever said yes when you realized you meant no? What would life be like if you could say maybe more — and take more time to decide? Feeling for our authentic yes’, no’s and maybe’s is one pathway to living with more consent in all of relationships.
Resiliency in Rupture
We know that we lead best when we are resourced and supported. Come and see how somatic practice (body-based practice) can be a source of wisdom and a site of possibility as you continue to lead in the midst of divisive times.
Embodying Change
We are offering a 5-week politicized somatic practice space, where you can practice tapping into the wisdom of your body to support the change you are longing for. We live in a world where healing is deeply individualized, commodified and separates us from one another. We hold that our individual healing must include our collective healing.
Big Feelings? Skill up in caring for your kid
Skill up in your capacity to care for your kids when emotions begin to flow -- theirs and yours! Let’s dispel the shame that can creep in both for you and your kids as we find our way together.
