anti-racism training & facilitation
I work with people and groups who are looking to:
deepen their learning & analysis
skill up in embodied anti-racism practice
and take bold action for racial justice
I have experience offering anti-racism education and training, specifically for white affinity groups. Bringing the body into this learning and practice is essential to support all of the shame and guilt that comes online as white people feel into our role and our ancestors’ role in creating and upholding white supremacy. I support white people to join the movement for racial justice, a movement that has been in motion for centuries, by finding their own stake in the fight for liberation, so that we can stand in solidarity with Black, Brown and Indigenous communities.
I also have multi-racial & interfaith community organizing experience that informs how I support groups who are looking to leverage their power to take concrete action toward our collective liberation. I have been a part of organizing teams and coached new groups and organizations to get off the ground. You can learn more about my training and background here.

“A movement for racial justice does not require White people to save Black and Brown people(s). Rather a movement for racial justice requires White Americans to save themselves from the strangulation of the spiritual malformation and social perversity of a culture of Whiteness”

I appreciated Lucy’s very grounded approach to facilitating anti-racism work. She brought a transparency, openness to share, thoughtful questions, and a somatic framework to each session together, which allowed for me to feel very safe in deeper exploring my biases and need for continued anti-racism work and actions. This is for anyone looking to deepen, explore, and expand their anti-racism work.

“Lucy employs a mix of methods to help engage individual thought, invite deeper sharing, and explore embodied experience. Her use of inspiring quotes and music elevated this experience to work of the spirit for me, which I realize is the source of sustaining this work and transforming myself. If you are white identifying, social justice-oriented, committed to anti-racism and want to cultivate a deeper awareness of white supremacy culture in a more embodied way for personal transformation — this may be an option for you.
